Teleconference Oct. 6, 2015

Rome, October 16, 2015 Dear Friends and Colleagues, In attachment you find an essential report of the on-line conference of October 6th, 2015. Invited to participate (letter of September 29th, 2015) were all those who had acknowledged the previous announcement of January 11th, 2015, i.e.: Edoardo Ballo, Aurelien Berra, Dino Buzzetti, Claude Cazale', Domenico Fiormonte, Hans Walter Gabler, Gerhard Lauer, Paolo Monella, Raul Mordenti, Paola Moscati, Tito Orlandi, Massimo Parodi, Lorenzo Perilli, Geoffrey Rockwell, Gino Roncaglia, Seamus Ross, Francesco Stella, Annamaria Tammaro, Manfred Thaller, Francesca Tomasi, Amir Zeldes. Berra, Fiormonte, Lauer, Roncaglia, and Stella have excused their impossibility to participate, confirming their active interest in the enterprise. All the others were on line, except Gabler and Rockwell -- and including Alessandro Cristofori and Paolo Mastandrea (but cf. below), who had not previously acknowledged the first announcement. The technical arrangement (i.e. skype-shared conversation) proved sufficiently efficient, except for the connection with Paolo Mastandrea; so that everybody (except him: apologies) could participate in the discussion. The report attached summerizes the discussion. I have also enclosed a copy of the Statutes in their final, approved form, and a list of the e-mail addresses of the acknowledging persons. As soon as I have negotiated (presumably with the Lincei Academy) an essential logistic support, I shall solicit from everybody an acceptance of the Statutes and a final acknowledgment of membership. Saluti affettuosi, Tito Orlandi
